Built on schist

37000 vines  have been planted at around  8,0 hectars of vineyards. We use only traditional grape varieties of the Douro that reflect their diversity and versatility of the particular personality of the terroir of this unique region. In the vineyards, just opposite the Quinta, grow about 30 white and red varietals. Most of the vines are older than 60 years.

Besides the tradtional impact, the most modern and innovative techniques and technologies have been integrated in our daily work. The combination of both and the love to our homeland are are our recipe for success.
